The City of Monash communications materials were aimed at raising awareness of local stormwater pollution. The materials produced (two brochures and a sign) had a strong graphical element, to educate people in the council area of the importance of preventing stormwater pollution.
The two brochures were:
- a pamphlet for businesses and households containing general information on stormwater pollution issues relevant to businesses and residents
- a pamphlet targeting restaurant owners containing specific information about trade waste agreements and grease traps.
The communication materials depicted the impact on local waterways of pollutants entering the stormwater system from homes and businesses.
