Emma Fitzgerald

Emma is an Associate with Sustainable Business Practices responsible for advising businesses on the management of climate change risk. She has previously worked as a climate change risk analyst for a risk valuation and ratings agency.

She also has several years experience in the areas of risk management and legal compliance with top tier law firm Allens Arthur Robinson and has completed tertiary studies in law, commerce and environmental management. More about Emma...

Nick has experience in business analysis, risk management and engineering, mathematical and computer sciences project development and management.

Professor Andy Pitman

Andy is Professor in Atmospheric Science at Macquarie University and Convenor, ARC Research Network for Earth System Science.

He is a lead author of Working Group 1 of IPCC 2005 and 2007, editor, Journal of Climate, Chair, World Climate Research Program's committee on Global Land Atmospheric System Study, National Representative to the International Geosphere Biosphere program, Member of the National Academy of Science's committee on Earth Systems Science and of the Advisory Board of Risk Frontiers Natural Hazards Research Centre.

Graeme Pearman

Graeme was Chief of CSIRO Atmospheric Research, 1992-2002. He now operates a consultancy company contracting to Monash University and private and public sector organisations.

He was recently a science adviser to Al Gore during his visit to Australia. His current activities include energy futures; sustainability science; scientific capacity building; public communication of science; and the role of science in modern societies.

Alan Tate

Alan is a director of Cambiar Pty Ltd, a Sydney-based strategy consultancy that works with progressive businesses, governments and non-government organisations on gaining competitive advantage and public support by focussing on sustainability.

Alan has been involved in international and national climate change policy for more than 10 years. Alan has attended every Conference of the Parties of the UNFCCC and has a wide range of political, corporate and NGO contacts within the COP process.

Henry O'Clery

Henry is the Director of Future Climate, an organisation established to assist individuals and organisations to reduce and offset their carbon emissions, to lessen the impacts of climate change.

Henry was formerly Technical Director and later CEO of Greenfleet, an organisation aiming to provide a comprehensive strategy to green the Australian transport fleet through tree planting programs and the introduction of fuel-efficient technologies.
