Originally trained as an electrical engineer, he has post graduate qualifications in Environmental Science, Business Administration and Company Directorship. Having spent his early career with blue-chip global corporations he moved into the management consulting business with PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he held senior positions in operational & resource efficiency, business improvement, supply chain management, environmental management, climate change and sustainability.
Deane is the Managing Director and founder of eco2sys : a small group of committed values-based sustainability practitioners whose vision for the planet is one aligned with environmental sustainability, spiritual fulfilment and social justice, and we believe that a person's values should not be compromised in the workplace. eco2sys's focus is on advising our clients on the risks and opportunities associated with sustainable development, providing integrated business solutions, increased resource efficiency and promotion of long term value.
