Glenn is passionate about translating sustainability strategy and initiatives, in such a way that they can be leveraged to build brand equity and grow competitive advantage.
Glenn began his career at Saatchi and Saatchi in London, where he cut his teeth working on Proctor & Gamble business. Next he moved across town to the UK’s number one ad agency, AMV BBDO, to take up a role as a strategic planner on Mars Pet Foods across Europe.
From AMV Glenn moved client side, taking up a role in brand management at Nestle. During his time at Nestle he re-launched three of their flagging boxed chocolate brands, most notably After Eight, which he succeeded in growing 12.5% against a market that declined 4%.
Glenn’s final role before moving back down under was in brand development for Unilever UK, where he led the turnaround of the iconic Pot Noodle brand.
Having become aware of the sustainability crisis facing us all, Glenn moved to Melbourne at the beginning of 2008 to become part of the solution, rather than the problem. Before joining the Shaper Group he spent the year studying at The Centre for Sustainability Leadership and consulting to the Sustainability Victoria communications team.
