Janette O'Neill

Janette has recently joined us as an Principal Consultant after returning from the UK where she has been working as an Assistant Director for PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in their Sustainability & Climate Change team. Janette has 12 years of Australian and European consulting experience covering corporate strategy, corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainability issues.

Janette began her career as a strategy consultant for Accenture where she was involved in a wide variety of work including: process redesign, project management, developing company visions and operational blueprints, organisation design, issue resolution and facilitation, training development and delivery, business planning and market analysis.

She then joined the UK environmental consultancy, Enviros Consulting, where she worked in their Sustainable Business Unit assisting a variety of corporate and government clients with environmental strategy and policy, baseline environmental reviews, training development and delivery, environmental management systems, reporting and communication.

Janette joined PwC UK in 2004 where she continued to work with a variety of corporate and government clients on CSR performance and risk assessment, gap analysis, strategy development, stakeholder management, supply chain management, internal auditing, report development and non-financial assurance. She has provided advice on a wide range of CSR / reputational issues including environmental impact, community relations, health and safety, occupational health, work life balance and CSR in the supply chain.

Janette most recently completed an 18 month secondment to assist the PwC UK Board develop its CSR strategy to support the business agenda. This work also included reviewing the firms CSR issues and risks, implementing a staff engagement plan and developing the firm’s first CSR report (which was awarded 1st runner up in the First Time Reporting category of the global CRRA reporting awards for 2007).
