Rosemary has over 30 years experience in financial management commencing with 12 years as the Principal Bookkeeper for a not-for-profit aged care facility. Vasey Housing provided independent living, hostel and nursing home care for 400 ex service men and women and was, and still is, a career highlight. This was followed by a few years as a “stay at home mum” combined with a series of voluntary “Treasurer” positions for a range of Community programs and junior sporting clubs. The return to work started a long association as the Finance Manager of a consultancy specialising in the provision of environmental advice and support to the Oil, Gas and Mining Industry. This position included the provision of logistical support to Environmental Monitoring teams during the construction phase of major gas pipelines, during offshore marine assignments and during the revegetation and rehabilitation of decommissioned mine sites.
Rosemary is a strong supporter of the performing arts and an active supporter of the Alola Foundation helping Women and Children of East Timor
