Starting his career as a chartered accountant, Sean specialised in understanding the financial implication of sustainability and incorporating sustainability considerations into business strategy and corporate reporting.
Sean was formerly the leader of Deloitte's Sustainability Services Group in Australia, spending three years in that role and had 11 years Chartered Accounting experience at Deloitte in total.
Sean is currently managing a number of projects for Newmont Mining Corporation in Adelaide, including the implementation of an Environment and Social Responsibility reporting system, an Integrated (Environment, Safety and Community) Management System and the 2006 public sustainability reporting process.
Sean's former sustainability clients (whilst at Deloitte) included Santos and Vodafone Australia.
Sean is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and holds an (Executive) MBA from The Australian Graduate School of Management (University of New South Wales).
