Fiona Reid from Write Option supports Sustainable Business Practices by planning and creating targeted communications. She has special experience, and interest, in taking complex technical information and making it easy for people to read and understand.
Since 2000 Fiona has worked as a freelance writer for both corporate and not-for-profit clients, across industries including transport and logistics, finance, food, mining, information technology, engineering, retail, health and disability services.
Before beginning freelance work, Fiona spent several years as a senior communications advisor for BHP Billiton businesses including Transport and Logistics, Information Technology, Engineering and Corporate Services. In these roles, she provided strategic advice and communications support to executive and line managers worldwide, and managed communications for a wide range of critical issues and incidents.
Fiona spent six years before that as a qualified archivist, appraising, arranging and describing records, conducting research, managing information retrieval systems and creating historical exhibitions.
